On June 14th, our company successfully completed a spring roll production line project with a large frozen food manufacturer in Indonesia, and the customer gave our equipment a very high evaluation.

Client Background

A large frozen food manufacturer in Indonesia (anonymous at the customer's request) specializes in traditional Asian pastries, exporting to Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

As order volume continued to grow, their existing semi-automated equipment could no longer meet production capacity and quality control needs. In 2024, the company contacted our company through an industry recommendation and, after extensive evaluation, selected a fully automated spring roll production line.

Project Requirements

The client's core pain points focused on three key areas:

• Capacity bottleneck: The old equipment could only produce a maximum of 20,000 spring rolls per shift, and the efficiency of the manual filling process fluctuated greatly;
• Lack of standardization: The spring roll wrappers were uneven in thickness, and the filling weight error exceeded ±8%, resulting in a high rate of unsatisfactory appearance after frying;
• Manpower dependency: 15 people were required per shift, making it difficult to recruit skilled local workers.

Solution: Fully Automatic Spring Roll Production Line

This modular line integrates quantitative filling injection, automatic layered wrapper lamination, precise rolling and forming, and synchronized cutting. Key advantages include:

• Fully Automated Process: From wrapper delivery to finished product stacking, the entire process is unmanned, requiring only two operators. The machine can adjust the rolling tension in real time, eliminating issues such as wrapper breakage and filling leakage common with traditional equipment.
• Guaranteed Product Consistency: The servo-driven filling pump maintains a weight tolerance within ±2%, ensuring the integrity of the spring rolls during the rolling process.
• Flexible Production Capacity: The same line supports rapid switching between six filling recipes, including leeks, chicken, and shrimp, with mold changes taking less than 15 minutes. Production capacity can be adjusted up to 8,000 rolls per hour based on demand, accommodating customers' high-volume, small-batch production needs.
